Sunday Social! Games, Shows, Cocktails, Ridiculousness

130227_Keda_Social.aiHave you ever wanted to live it up in a private members club but thought that it might be a bit……not quite your scene? Well Hoochie Coochie’s latest event Sunday Social, which combines the decadence of the Mauritania’s Members Rooms with kitsch entertainment and Sunday afternoon fun could be just the ticket!

Sunday Social is spread over five lavish rooms of the Mauritania rooms in Bristol city center.

The Members Room – Rock N Roll Bingo and Pole Dance Unicorn
The Front Bar – 80’s Karaoke
The Games Room and The Snug – Twister, Jenga, Connect Four, card games, show boys and showgirls
The Ballroom – DJ LloyiTron (wonky) and stage shows

Stage shows include cabaret luminary Audacity Chutzpah, really great really crap tribute act Fanny Fontaine and belly dance star Natty Bom Batty

Two for one cocktails all night are back by popular demand! And yes there really is a light up dance floor

Dress Code: OTT and dress to impress, glamor, glitter, evening, flamboyant. We don’t really mind what you wear so long as you make an effort. It’s not compulsory to dress up, but if you didn’t you will probably wish you did!

Sunday Social has less emphasis on the stage shows than traditional Hoochie Coochie’s and more focus on interactive games in the decadent surroundings

  • “It was kicking in there!”

  • “Hoochie Coochie is the best cabaret-variety show I have seen outside of London. Line-ups are always exquisite, talented and surprising. It is a show I urge all of my friends to see if they are ever in the area.”
